How do I know if my system needs a power flush?
Here are the symptoms to look out for:
- Noisy system
- Cold spots on radiators
- Cold at the base of radiator
- Banging noises coming from the boiler
- Rust appearing on radiators and pipework
- Unable to control the heat
- Not enough hot water
Assessing your system
Our full system health check is comprised of the following:
- Thermal imaging check of all radiators and visible pipe work
- Temperature differential check of flow and return
- Water hardness test
- Adey Pro check testing the water in the heating system for corrosion levels, PH and inhibitor levels
The Power Flush
Duration is approx. 4-6 hrs for 12 radiators however this can take longer depending on severity of the build-up.

The power flush consists of a chemical clean out of your boiler, pipes and radiators replacing the dirty sludge with clean water.
